Total Pond is the brain child of a group of water gardening enthusiasts with an eye towards innovation.  Together they have over 50 years of experience in the water gardening industry and a passion to make fountains and garden ponds a permanent feature in backyards, front lawns, and landscaped areas all over the USA and around the world. 

Waterscapes have always been beautiful, but in the past they often required hours of maintenance and detailed knowledge of chemistry, biology and engineering to create and maintain them.  Total Pond’s mission from the very beginning has been to simplify the process with groundbreaking and cutting edge water gardening products, so consumers can spend more time enjoying their fountains and ponds and less time maintaining them.

The Total Pond engineering department has a unique approach to innovation. The team is comprised of professionals with expertise in different engineering fields.  Electrical, packaging and pump engineers work collaboratively with graphic designers to create products that offer superior performance on multiple levels.  Total Pond is often the first to market products with the latest technology. 

Pond Pumps and Filters are the heart and soul of the company.  Today’s products offer energy efficiency, quiet technology, and improved durability.  Some of these improvements are the result of a patented feature, like the Low Water Shut-Off which is available in selected pumps. Now when water levels are low in fountains and other water features, the pump will automatically turn itself off. This saves the motor from burning out.  Other innovations are achieved through design improvements, the highest quality materials, and Total Pond’s constant attention to details. Ponds and waterscapes should be quiet and relaxing, and the unobtrusive operation of our pumps and other mechanicals is the result of this combination of design elements, expertise and a high level of expectations.

Total Pond is excited to introduce several new products that combine pond or fountain essentials into a single product.  This reduces the overall cost, improves energy efficiency, and simplifies operation. The Pond Boss is the first floating 4-in-1 pump on the market.  The pump, UV filter, aerator and light are now available as a single unit. This combination product only need a single electrical cord so they are easier to install and maintain. 

Good products become great when they are backed up by excellent customer support services.  Orders are quickly processed and packaged with that careful attention to details which has made Total Pond famous.  The aftercare support department is the very best in the industry.  They take over 1,500 calls a month during the busy spring and summer seasons.  The support desk answers questions about water pond products as well as general questions about fountains and water gardening.  They work hard to make sure every customer is completely satisfied.
